WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR SESSION

  

  • Questions about how you are currently feeling, what we are working on, what needs to be addressed, assessments if you have a specific issue, etc. 

  • You will undress to your comfort level and get under the sheets. I use a draping technique that will make sure you are never exposed. 

  • We will work together to make sure the pressure is comfortable (never above a 7 on your 1-10 scale), or you will be fighting me and we won't be able to get any muscles to release.

  • More is NOT always better. There may be some general soreness after your session and the next day if you get deep tissue or trigger point work, but you should not be sore for days. That type of soreness is just tissue damage; that is not the intention or the purpose of what I do.

  • I start softer in order to address the muscles, tissues, etc. to see what is going on, and then work deeper layer by layer depending on where restrictions are felt. 

  • Many different techniques and modalities will be utilized in order to get the best results. 

  • "Good work in the wrong area is NOT good work". So, while my hands can feel a lot, I am not a mind-reader, so the more you communicate with me, the better and faster we can address certain issues. 

  • Drink water afterwards in order to flush out the toxins and free-radicals while oxygenating the cells. Helps prevent excessive soreness afterward.
